A big HELLO to fellow BBQers

Postby rainorshine » 25 Jun 2012, 19:13

Well hello to everyone here and here's my tiny story for how I got the BBQ fever. I was your everyday Brit that went to the supermarkets when they did their seasonal BBQ promo to get sausages for my cheap BBQ. I would over cook most stuff because I really and truly didn't have a clue what I was doing. Then a few years back I started work at a garden centre in Essex, they had a good selection of BBQ's and they was a Weber partner store so as you can guess that was my turn around. I love my food, always have and after seeing what you can cook and how good it tasted on a BBQ I've never looked back at how I use to do things. I have a couple of years under my belt selling BBQ's, have been to Weber's grill academy twice and have had lots of cooking time on my Weber 57cm One-Touch Original. I still have plenty to learn, there is loads I've yet to cook but I am a quick learner and take in information like I'm chomping down a rack of smoked ribs. Everything I do know so far is on my personal website which is linked in my profile here and I just want to keep expanding on that :)
