Evening all,

quick post to introduce myself, I'm Simon from Northamptonshire.

Complete Barbecue novice. Have owned small cheap crap thats served a purpose in the past, left to rust and thrown away each spring.

We've had a Cadac grill for the last few years that was bought primarily for camping but then ended up being used more at home! BUT you can't really call that a barbecue can you!? Besides, when the neighbour is out with his charcoal barbeque and you get the smells wafting over the fence it just can't compare!

A little bit skint at the moment, but have my eye on the Weber One Touch for when I do get round to buying a real one :)

Thanks guys,

I picked up a piece of Fillet Steak on the way home from work this evening and put it on the little charcoal barbeque that I have with a handful of Musquite chips. It was good, however it clearly needs to be upgraded ASAP
