Postby uncle albert » 02 Apr 2014, 15:51

Hello Gents,

New to forum. Thing I am on the lower medium level of BBQ skills and experience.

I am a keen cook and looking to make use of some decent BBQ/grill/smoking skills now I have a bought a new house with enough space to try it

Cheers

Hi Uncle Albert! Welcome to the forum.

New beginnings eh? What's your kit setup so far, and what do you plan for the new place?

Welcome - the best way is just to get in and have a go. There's lots of good info on here to learn from as well.

Hi Uncle Albert, welcome to the forum. The chaps here have been most helpful on getting me on the right path to BBQ enlightenment so ask away. :)

Just don't start any stories with "During the war..." ;)

Thanks gents.

Brace yourself for this, my excuse is that I don't have a garden at the moment!

Current: Basic little Snowbee hot smoker for trout I catch

Intended: Kamado Joe 23" & Pitmaster IQ 120 & Accessories

I was making a design to build a stone clad Argentian grill with BBQ pit and wood fired oven..... However when I priced it up the costs were truly horrifying! £2000k for the stone cladding alone.

So KJ here we come...... I am quite excited about it.

I have not ordered the KJ or Pitmaster IQ 120 yet. If you guys can suggest someone to speak to get a great deal then please tell me.?.??
