Hello, just found you guys and thought I may be able to get some tips and ideas for my new found love of smoking!

I just wondered if anyone has any ideas for expanding my Master Touch 22.5 until I can afford a Weber Smokey Mountain..

Welcome. There are loads of mods for Weber One&Master Touch grills to get smoking on them. I remember seeing an expansion (along the lines of putting the middle section of the on a WSM on a One Touch) to create distance between the coals and the meat. There is also various varieties of the smokinator that you can google.(

There are loads of ways to cook indirectly on to Master Touch - you are only limited by capacity.

Thank ConorD. I have a lovely neighbour who has just made me a baffle/heat sink type thing to bank coals and suck air through coal side and not grill side, previously I was using tin foil... This thing is great! I looked at extension tubes but for the cost I may wait and get myself a dedicated smoker WSM is the one I want... Until then, I will carry on as I am, I just hope we get enough good weather or I'll have to get a marquee to cover it on the rainy days!
