Afternoon all.

Just signing in - picked up a smoker from the fine chap that is Toby yesterday and am looking forward to getting going with it. Good to see that weather rules are the same if you quick or slow BBQ - the mere thinking about firing up the smoker this morning made it rain

Which smoker did you go for?

Smokers love the rain!

Enjoy

Thanks.

When I started looking I had my eyes on a frontier. My friend has one and that looked good I thought. Appears to be a decent size. Does what all the websites about smoking tell you it should do. I'm new to this so let see how it goes I mused.

Then I found this place.

And reading on here about the kind of stuff you cook and thinking how good it all looked I've ended up with a Excel 20. With another section.

I blame you lot. :(

:D :D

It's a slippery slope my friend. Before you know it you will have three smokers, a number of grills and a draw full of thermometers, probes, injectors, books the list goes on.

I'm looking for counseling, any ideas

What are your plans for an inaugural smoke?

I'd recommend ribs.

Hello. I'd go for ribs of bear can chicken for the first cook, if you have children the ribs will mean they want you to cook every weekend!!
