For those who know me and for those who don't I'm really pleased to have a review in The Observer by none other than Jay Rayner. Copy goes out 24th July 2011 for those who'd like to read it. :D

Curiousity - how long has the World's End been there as a pub? Or did it used to be called something else?

Have just located it on Google Streetview, and I have to say I don't recall it from when I lived in the area (which I admit is now over 10 years ago). I remember the Hare & Hounds, and the Branch, but I don't seem to have ever noticed the World's End.

As I think I may have mentioned, I am in Brighton for a few days in September, so will try and pop in and say hello.
