Hi, been into BBQ for a while now, I used my Brinkmann smokin n pit offset for the first time at the weekend on a brisket. got a couple of pics if anyone is interested. Applied all the mods I could find for an offset, it seems to be pretty much leak free and holds its temp quite good. I've a Weber Smokey Joe also which lives in my campervan. The first smoker I owned, a cheapy from makro (60 quid) was a waste of time, smoke belching out from everywhere, it gets used for grilling.

Hope to pick up some tips from you all on here and down at Bristol next weekend at grillstock if its ok to have a chat and see how the experts do it?

Doug

Well, from what I've seen of this year there are going to be lots of helpful souls. Just a word of advice I made the mistake, at Rudgewick, of trying to talk to the competitors at "turn-in" time   . Lots of willing people here to help, so ask away.
