My names Jason and I live close to Heathrow.

Have recently moved house to one with a garden, so of course my first purchase was a gas BBQ. Might not be the weather for it but in 4 weeks we are having our second BBQ tomorrow - although I normally take over at others houses!

Look forward to getting some ideas of what comes next and how best to use it.

Jason

Welcome.

Yeah, I tend to take over the BBQ at other peoples houses too (and they are all too happy for me to do so).

Thanks all.

Its a Wilko 3 gas burner with side burner - so probably not much on it online. It looks very similar to the Landmann bbq's. Not sure if it helps but stats in the book say Gas pressure - 37 mbar; main burner injector size - 0.89mm; side burner - 0.74mm; 3 burner heat input - 9.7 kW; side burner heat input - 2.3 kW; gas consumption - 857 g/h

Means very little to me? I got it on offer for £30 so happy for the short term and as I love doing my BBQ's may look for something a bit better if this doesn't suffice next year (just moved into new house so funds are tight right now).

Managed to cook for about 30 or 40 people a couple of weeks ago (over about 3 or 4 hours) so it has been well worth its cost already. Seemed to cook to a decent enough standard compared to other BBQs I've used, noone got food poisoning as far as I'm aware  It did seem to cook a lot better at the rear of the BBQ though so a fair bit of shuffling about was needed.
