Hi from anglesey

Postby chuckwagonbbq » 03 Aug 2013, 13:10

Hi Been into smoking bbq for a few years, have been running a hog roast locally, now I'm going to be adding southern style bbq to my menu. Got a couple of gmg jim bowies to do the smoke. Don't really know what the going price for meat is at the moment. Been quoted whole brisket 5.99 a kilo, pork shoulder 2.96 a kilo and ribs 3.60 a kilo.

cheers
Mark

Welcome to the forum. Spent a lovely day on Newborough Beach yesterday, albeit BBQs weren't allowed

Welcome, if the brisket is off the bone, it's not a bad price especially if it's from a local herd. The pork prices are good as well. 8-)
