Hi, found this site on Tapatalk, loving all the new ideas.
Been a Weber guy mainly, though I started off with a Charbroil about 15 years ago, progressed to a black 2 burner Weber (Silver B or something like that) shortly after, sold that to my mate when my father handed me down his Genesis 3 burner Weber (again I can't recall the exact model number, but is was massive in comparison).
This year that particular grill went to my father in law (that grill must be 16 or 17 years old now), he replaced the ignition and touched up some of the paint work, 3 or 4 bars on the grill had come loose, being that they were stainless steel he got them tig welded. That grill will probably outlive him...and maybe me.
I currently have a Genesis S-330, bought this year. I had a rotisserie on my old genesis and modified it to fit my new Genesis, had to add 3 inches to the length of it.
Really enjoying the Genesis for ease of use,
Also built a brick grill a couple of years ago, inspired by what I had seen in the Canaries I fabricated a height adjustable cooking surface using a frame some chain and a handle on the side for adjustment, have cooked for 30 people on it.
Have a Q100 for throwing in the back of the car or wet caravan weekends, a 47cm kettle for better weekends in the Caravan. And lastly bought a 57cm ex display Weber kettle form B&Q at the start of the month.
