Another Newbie

Just got a OTP last week. (£136 from World of Power, although should have got Go Outdoors to price match/beat by 10% Doh!)

Owned a Go Anywhere grill for the last 15 years, only started indirect cooking in the last 3 or 4 though, but due to the size of the go anywhere mainly chicken fillets and sausages. Also have been known to grill steaks at night in the snow in winter!

Chose a OTP mainly for durability, the Go Anywhere is still going strong.

Looking forward to trying other meats on the new one. I did two Beer Can Chickens yesterday as my first on the new one. Thought I'd start with something relatively easy. Both turned out a treat, thumbs up for the kids. Now thinking of what to do next!

BCC is often a good starting point, I would suggest ribs, if you can get some nice ones. There are plenty of hints and tips in the recipes section here.

Ribs do sound good, I'll see if I can find some meaty ones! I was sure we had an old DVD storage rack at work that I could cannibalise to make a rib rack, can't find it now!

I plan on trying different things through the winter, ready for next summer!
