Hi all

I have just started to try "proper BBQ's" instead of the usual 10 mins to incinerate style of cooking
Only 2 weeks ago I went out and bought a Weber Kettle OTP (green one as it was cheaper) and have tried everyones first try recipe "beer can chicken" ....... I'm now hooked
I have a Brisket & a pork shoulder ordered from my local butcher for collection tomorrow and will be trying to make them taste good enough to eat (I hope)

So, just saying hi to all & I will be doing a bit of reading on the forums to make sure I don't make it a complete disaster

Hope to drop in for a chat from time to time and pick up tips & tricks.
Would love to hear from anyone else in N.Ireland as getting supplies is not easy

Cheers Stephen
p.s Thanks Toby for the excellent & fast delivery of Heatbeads

keep at it - I cooked a shoulder and some chicken thigh through the night but luckily it it dry (if a little cold here). My folks live in Co. Down and know if is pretty wet at the best of times :D
