New guy seeking advice
Hi all, stumbled across this wonderful forum, full of very good advice and knowledgeable people, and the best kind of people...carnivores
im a 27 year old software developer from coventry, however, my main passion in life is football, beer and meat, and in a few years time would love to turn my passion into a business.
so im looking for some advice about bbqing.
recently bought a drum bbq from asda (http://direct.asda.com/george/george-ho ... lt,pd.html) and a load of big k charcoal briquettes and i buy all my meat from a meat wholesaler but looking for some advice on the best equipment really.
im not a fan of the charcoal briquettes, find they take to long to heat and create a lot of smoke which annoys the hell out of the neighbours, and it doesn't have the best smell, seems to be more of a heating fuel rather then for bbq use.
if anyone could offer some advice for the best bbq fuel to use, and how to add flavour such as wood chips etc and any comments about the bbq im using would also be welcome.
also any advice on upcoming events where i can visit and view how the masters do it that would be great too.
