hello from Hull

Hi all
I live in Hull (City of Culture 2017) .. I'm 65 years young and will be retiring in a couple of years from now. I have been a seaman amongst many other things in this time and for the past 11 years I have worked on the River Humber.
I've been 'smoking' for approx 18 months now on a Bradley 4 rack and lately on a Weber kettle, it has been challenging to get it right, but my family say's it's great and far better than the smoker/rib establishments that have sprung up lately in this area, but they would wouldn't they
When I do retire I'm very keen on the idea of starting a small mobile business to serve up the good stuff at nearby events/shows/festivals etc. But to get a good quality product I'm seriously considering importing either an ABS (American Barbecue System) Pit-Boss or Judge, or a Yoder competition smoker, has anybody got any insight/experience of these?

Thanks
Tuggboattommy

I think Toby has some info on American smokers, might be worth sending him a pm.

Hello and welcome, there are a couple of teams that also do catering who will doubtless get back to you in due course. In the meantime have fun!!!
