Hi guys :)

I've finally got a smoker, and can't wait to try it out.
I got a Brinkmann Gourmet charcoal smoker and grill, which was easily available here in the UK.

I guess now the lessons begin. The weather has been wet and windy, so I've not used it yet.
I'm just about ready to go with it I think, apart from my bbq thermostat hasn't yet arrived. After watching a few youtube videos that looked to be a must, and pretty obvious too I reckon !
I've also fitted a rope seal around the lid, which is quite a loose fit, and fitted a damper to the top of the lid.
I've added more ventaltion to the inner coal basket, and will be fitting a large damper to the underside of the base so I can regulate the air flow - that's the theories anyway ! haha

Look forward to saying hi, and picking up any advise and tips to get me going properly

Bri.. :D
