I've been smoking and grilling on my kettle for a couple of years and have finally made the plunge this Xmas on a PQ smoker. Would have loved to get the WSM but reading the forum it seems the PQ will do the job and is affordable.
First Pulled pork done, although I could not seem to get to the right temp after 12hours (got to about 83), I also seemed to use a lot more charcoal than I thought (weather probably had something to do with that) lots of ideas for next time and few mods coming up. Ribs going on this week.
I've been using the forum for sometime but selfishly not really contributed, looking forward to getting in amongst it and adding a bit more to the discussion.
