Too many forum categories?

Always happy to listen to feedback, the forum was recently simplified and alot of different threads were combined. The wood fired section is for anyone that use a wood fired oven (clay oven) rather than a smoker using wood.

We have to rely on people using common sense about posting, if we didnt spread it a little then people would get bored of trawling through hundreds of threads some of which may not be relevant to their requirements and the search facility on forums is pretty rubbish.

One suggestion is to use google. type bbbqs and your search and it will generally find more accurate results for you.

Thanks for the response - good to have site owners that listen. I guess I am just used to the main other site I use - it's a mountain biking forum and it just has a bike forum, a chat forum, and a classifieds. :)

Grum it too could be split into numerous forums, velodrome, street racing, cyclo-cross, attempted suicide aka downhill mountain biking and so on. There are many different skills and styles of BBQ so numerous topics to cover them. The good news is you can find what you need reasonably easily using the search engine. :D

There used to be a sub-forum on kit. Stuff you've found, stuff you've made etc. There isn't a clear cut sub-forum for that now.

I'll agree with the OP that there are too many forum categories here, but that's just my opinion :)

I just followed tiny,s advice and closed my eyes and clicked and somehow ended up on a page with lots of very scantily clad young ladies on it !!
