Newman's Own BBQ rubs

Postby Eddie » 31 Jul 2014, 13:14

Don't know if anyone else has tried these, but Newman's Own have just release a range of BBQ rubs that are now being sold at Asda. http://www.newmansown.co.uk/products/american-rubs.html
Why not give them a try, I know I will.

All a matter of personal taste but I can't stand that Newmans sauce. Would be willing to give the rubs a go though.

One of the first sauces I used was a newmans sauce, it wasn't the best but it did help my decision to start making my own  others have said the rubs are ok though.

Good thing about Newman’s as you know is that all the money go to charity, so if you do try it? It will also mean that you are doing you bit as well. If anyone is looking for a brine for chicken and don’t want to source a recipe? Newman’s Italian dressing is very good as well. Just pour the dressing over, leave overnight, wash, rub and then Q

Regards
