I doubt it Chris.My teeth were ruined by a misspent youth. The first thing about getting ribs with enough meat on is to buy bone in belly and work from there. If you have to gnaw the meat off the bone then they haven't been cooked well.the meat should need just a gentle tug to come clean off but not fall off the bone when you pick one up. 4 of my cooked ribs at BBQ Shack have about 12oz [cooked weight] of meat on them. I too like butts and briskets but ribs fresh off the smoker without any of that sweet sticky stuff on them are pretty hard to beat.

Not a fan of cheap chickens myself, but when it comes to wings, thighs or drumsticks I'll buy them cheap. Breast meat is different, you can tell a cheap chicken by the breast.
