What's cooking?

Postby Swindon_Ed » 24 Jun 2011, 13:45

Seeing as the weather if looking to be nice and sunny over some parts of the UK this weekend i thought i'd ask you all what you've got cooking this weekend?

Me, I've got my family coming round for my mothers birthday. I'll be cooking Pork, Brisket & Ribs on Sunday.

Everything has already been ordered at my butchers just need to pick it up tomorrow morning to get started with the prep' and also try out my new seasonings.

I've got some friends coming round on Sunday for a boardgame session, so will be doing something for them.

Alas I have sufficient pork left in the fridge that I don't really want to do another one yet, but not enough to feed them all. So I think it will probably be burgers and bangers, and perhaps extend the pork (if I have any left) by making a warm salad out of it.

Ribs n chicken for me. Trying out some new rubs. Sounds like you're practicing Mr Blue - does that mean we'll be seeing you in July then? ;)
