We've got a new logo

and we've managed to persuade the lovely folks at PKM Texas to sponsor us this year - which is a massive result!

Oh, and a certain costume has been ordered to arrive in time for the Big BBQ

Me and my colleage Nic have been working on it for a while, we come up with a concept, then he develops it on paper and I digitise and colour it. No shortcuts on the one - however, if you're after something a little easier, you could have a look at istockphoto and find something - or if youve got an idea or concept I'm sure I could help you out for a beer or two :D

I kinda cheated, since Ganda & Penguin are my companies, so they're covering things like van hire, entry fees etc in exchange for logos / mentions. With PKM Texas, they are providing / shipping over ingredients and other bits and bobs from Texas for us to use, in exchange for logos / mentions - many of their clients are based in the UK (esp. London), so its of benefit to them to have their name about. In regards to how did I get them to sponsor - I just asked, said what I was after and told them what I could offer - nothing like being balls-out cheeky and seeing what you can get! (infact we've got another couple of ingredients sponsors lined up for paddle-round-the-pier just by asking!)

My saviour came in the shape of Mr Choke-The-Chicken. At the moment it's "on tick" as we've yet to meat up for me to redeem the liquid I.O.U.

Great news re the sponsorship, love the "Desperate Dan" style image, although from what we saw at MiM there was no desperation just solid determination and a fun outlook
