Don't really know where to put this but tesco are selling chicken drumsticks, 2 pks for £6. I picked up a few packs from my local, 10 mini drumsticks in each pack and they were very clean, no pens or hairs on them ;) . Better than a wing imho.

Me too...mmmm, wings...now where's that drooling smiley?

Still not too bad an offer, however I think we should be promoting happy chickens that are RSPCA endorsed, etc.

Got to agree with you there bud. Not a fan of the ultra cheap chicken knowing how it's been farmed.

Surely that is normally the case, unless the bird is flying upside down.

Personally, I put wings in the same catergory as ribs - too fiddly/messy to eat, with not enough meat to reward the effort. Having said that, drumsticks come a close third.

Guess I'm just not into gnawing bones.

In my opinion if it's chicken on the smoker it's got to be thighs.

If it's going on the smoker I'd say go for whole birds then save the meat for the next day when the smoke will have really developed. But any kind of portion, for me benefits from a faster cook.

One man's meat, and all that. I've never actually bought or cooked ribs, as they have simply never appealed to me. I've been given ribs at BBQs that friends say are brilliant, and I am just meh! Those ribs you pictured look like good ribs, from what I have seen, but they don't get me going the same way a nice juicy bit of pork, chicken, brisket or even (hush my mouth) roasted vegetables do.

Still it would be a boring world, if we all liked the same things.
