mmmmmmm Sounds like a great weekend - It is a pity though that the beer wasnt ready too. I expect that you had a backup supply though ;) . Takes me back to the days when I used to brew - you can make some cracking stuff at home. Unfortunately it probably helped contribute to my current Adonis physique... I expect an invite when it is ready - purely to sample it for quality control you understand

Sounds like a successful weekend!

What was the recipe for the IPA....I'm guessing mostly pale malt with some torry in there???

I've brewed this lager 5 times now and have been happy with it....

25ltr length

5kgs lager malt - mash @ 66°C for 90 mins
50g Saaz @ 90 mins
1 Protofloc @ 30 mins
25g Saaz @ 15 mins
25g Saaz @ 00 mins
Yeast Brewlabs Pils / Brewlabs Belgian / Wyeast Pils

I'm putting an Old Peculiar and a Stout on this weekend...might go for two double brew days and get a couple of pales on too.....
