I will start us off

2. Charcoal chimney
3. Welding gloves

The ETI Thermapen is a fantastic bit of kit http://thermometer.co.uk/ The product isn't that expensive, and you know when you food is at the right internal temp with fast results.

As for the Maverick ET-732, that is a fantastic bit of kit as well and you can get on ebay at the moment http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-ET732-Mav ... 45fdaf048b

Good luck and let us all know how your getting on.

Eddie

Don't worry about welding gloves. Hot gloves are better and cheaper I think ;)

Pretty much agree with everything said so far but would add

- a good set of knives and a means of keeping them sharp
- for grilling a drip tray
- a table that is close to your smoker/grill
- a parasol or some sort of cover so you can grill/smoke in the rain
