Whilst channel hopping this morning I saw Pitch tvs perennial ad for their "pop-up" gazebo's at around £175 for a 2.5mtr gazebo complete with 4 sides, a bag and sandbags for hard surfaces.
I know competitors use gazebos and have lots of experience but in your opinions what are the best and where from

I have had a few and to be honest they seldom last more than a season. I have been unfortunate enough to see a few of the competition teams gazebo's give in to the wind also.

The best Gazebo I have ever seen is one that John Hargate uses uses, I'm not sure of the brand but it has taken a lickin and keeps on tickin!

I don't think it was cheap, but as my Grandad says and I have learned, you buy cheap, you buy twice.

John has a gala tent pop up with the hex frame. Very good product. There's also a company in Chorley called Rock awnings who do the same product but a little cheaper. Both companies offer spare part support for their gazebos.

I've been researching this recently as I need to buy a bomb proof one for this season given my previous bad luck with gazebos

Just to add to this, Ideal World have a "pop-up" gazebo, with sides and mossie nets for £129 +p&p. If it lasts us a couple of years in the garden it will do fine. Then we can work on getting something more professional i.e. stronger for the future.

After abysmal luck with gazebos getting destroyed at comps, I've just bought a gala tent pro50. At £430 it's not the cheapest option, however it appears to be astounding quality.

That would fit into the concvept of more professional. At the mo it's for occassional home use so we'll give it a go and see what happens.

Like most others here, we too have battled with the cheapo green ones trying our best in the high winds to keep it on the ground. But then we discovered the ones made by Alexander Rose, superb quality and extremely sturdy in the wind - and relatively easy to put up! I believe their website can be found here somewhere!

Hi MrBlue I googled AR and eventually tracked down their website, nice but a bit pricey at the moment. You'd think a big company like that would be into sponsorship wouldn't you
