Completely off topic but i guess thats the point of Anything Butt.......

If anyone has taken loans or credit cards out over the last say 15 years, dont bother with the tv adds or the irritating phone calls, I put a claim in myself to Lloyds and just received a very nice birthday present!

The process i followed was simple, and this account had been closed for 4 years...

Sent a letter in to Lloyds stating account number and sort code and asked for a list of every credit agreement I had with them for the duration of the account for further PPI investigation. Once i had received this sent in a complaint listing the loan numbers, then filled out their standard form which all banks now have, and hey presto offer came over today!

I get the impression it is much easier for them to make an offer, rather than spend hours investigating. Good luck!
