I've got one. I would say I was happy with it rather than blown away.

I think will take a bit of practice to get a good technique, so far I have had perfect bottoms and underdone tops and burnt bottoms and perfect tops, with some just right: usually cooked for a bit longer as the heat is dissipating.

Mine got hot enough to warp the charcoal grate on the bbq.

It's worth investing in a cheap infra-red thermometer so you know how hot the stone has got.

I would say it cooks a better pizza than any that I have done in the oven on pizza stones.

The last lot we did, I waited until they were perfect on the bottom then finished them under a hot grill.

I picked mine up for around £90 on offer, whilst it is nice quality, I wouldn't have wanted to pay much more.

Has anyone had much success with just using a pizza stone on a standard Weber kettle? I've been thinking about getting one.
