I have had a look in here for an answer but to no joy.

I am looking to import a new smoker this month but I need a good but cheap exporter and was hoping someone could recommend someone they have used in the past?

What are you getting??? Is it on a trailer or is it just a big smoker that will be in a crate as this will affect which shipping company to use.

Yes I should of said. I think made my mind up on a Battle box from Humphreys.
I did like the G2 party but the price a little out my range.

its great to see the variety increase out there. You will end up having to ship it on a pallet even though its small due to the weight. company I have used in the past is Formula Freight, I think they are now intercargo. I would advise getting a door to door service because you will incur additional costs and a headache if you are trying to pick it up yourself form the docks.

I am sure you know this but you will be charged import (about 5%) and VAT on whatever price they put on the value of the invoice.

Indeed - and note you pay VAT on the full shipped cost - (item + shipping cost).

That battle box looks amazing. I'd love one of those myself! Are there no UK distributors? Or anything similar available in the UK?

I wish!! great looking cookers for the price, I do like the Weeble and half pints they do, for being more portable. But they may be another topic. 8-)

They do look like a BBQ beast ;)

I've never seen these type of smokers before.

What's the advantages over say a GMG Jim Bowie?

@Pete, I was thinking of going for a Jim Bowie but as I have never tasted food on one I thought best stick to what I knew.
Also when I did my "want" and "needs" list this kind of cooker ticked more boxes for me. I have just enough cooking space for my needs, and they come in a range of cool colours :D
