Most expensive pellets ever?

I know food grade pellets are expensive, but this is a little ridiculous:

£219 for one 20lb bag!

It is not a one off, either, as they have several listings, for different woods, all priced similarly.

I am currently paying less than a tenth of that.

Ahh yes but there is no unexpected import costs as they guarantee to pay all shipping and duty costs. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy overpriced IMHO :o

But that's the thing - they reckon the pellets are warehoused in Germany; which means no customs or additional charges.

I actually queried it with them (out of curiosity), and received a reply saying they had increased the price to disuade people from ordering as they are currently out of stock. However, this sounds like BS to me, as I can see no evidence of them having sold them at a lower price. Besides, advertising something you don't have available to sell is, I believe, in breach of eBay rules - if they don't have them, they should simply cancel the listing.

I think they are just looking for suckers who don't know better. Their pellets (by the 20lb bag) work out even more expensive than those little 450g bags you see in garden centres, sold as a smoke enhancer rather than a fuel.

Delivery time is 15-24 days. Obviously not in the EU. I bet they are drop shippers.
