Decent pit thermometer

Postby CyderPig » 29 Nov 2013, 13:06

Hi All
Can anyone recommend a decent and accurate dial type pit thermometer for my new build.
The ones I have bought in the past have all lied and been out by up to 50 degrees.
Cheers
Si

The ones that everyone raves about in the US are the Tel-Tru:

The Tel-Tru on my Backwoods is extremely accurate and can easily recommend one

I don't have anything except the old boiling water test to check it out, but I just bought one of the ETI deep frying thermometers to use in my UDS and it's pretty accurate!
