Buying Frozen Meat Online

Postby Dodge » 03 Sep 2014, 15:27

Hi all

I've been looking at meatpacks.co.uk and I'm thinking of buying some Fribin Baby Back Ribs. They say they are frozen packed in ice box and sent overnight. Im a little worried they may turn up slightly thawed out, as i want freeze them when they arrive.

They seem fairly well priced, and i've seen a few posts on here about them, which seem all good.

Anyone about that has ordered from them? if so, have they turned up still total frozen and good to throw in the freezer?

I see Devon Rose also sell them a little cheaper, these also send them in ice box but the ribs arnt frozen to start with, so will be ok to freeze when they arrive.

Cheers

Others have bought them on here and I've not heard of any issues.

Oh no that doesn't sound good at all :( how come you won't be buying from them again?

Looking for a good reasonable priced online butcher that delivers now I'm into the low n slow.
