Jalapeno

Can you buy jalapenos here all year round or just seasonal or not at all? If you can, does anyone have any links to where I can get them? I bought some chillis recently from an Indian food supplier but I honestly don't know if they were the same as jalapenos (they looked the same to me).
Thanks

Dunno mate, I'd love to see a positive answer to the very same question.

I have seen that Waitrose stock them in Jars. Not sure if they are the same, a mate of mine orders curry packs online from here: http://www.spicebox.co.uk/ they are very fast and I would assume they will know for sure.

I know that Morrisons and Sainsburys both do a 'mild' chilli for about £1 for a dozen. Don't know if they are Jalapenos as such but they taste the same to me - certainly no where as fiery as birds eye chillis. They are about as big (and as round) as your thumb. I use them for ABTs and they seem to stock them all year round - I bought some yesterday.

Grow 'em!

Chilli plants grow like wild fire (pun included!)

In the winter I grow them in the box room - it's south facing so they get as much sun as possible during the day.
