BBBQS Round 2 - So Who's Up For It?

Postby Steve » 17 Jun 2010, 11:58

I'm sure you're all aware Toby will be opening up the grounds of Chateu Shea again on July 24/25 for round two of the BBBQS competition.

I know we're in, as are Bite The Bullet and Stick The Kettle On. Just wondering who else has signed up yet?

I hope we'll see most of the teams from Mayhem in May entering the fray again, but are there any new teams looking at competing too.

Glad you're coming John. Shame you can't be there for Friday night drinkies though. Was hoping you'd be there with some more of those Texas hot links and that you'd let me steal the recipe too lol.

Missed out on the links and the armadillo eggs last time John but heard great reviews about them ... are you still going to be competing ... if so, it's gonna be a big hurry for you this time.

Dave and I will be there as usual, but this time we're staying onsite (hoping that Toby can find a space for our new travelling palace)!!

All in all, should be a great weekend.

Hi Dan,

We held the final last year at Rother Valley as part of their party in the park, it meant we were exposed to 30,000 people, for some reason they are not holding the same event this year which means the venue is not viable so the final is being hosted by Rudgwick Steam and Country show.

Cheers
