Hi there all...
been using a big kingsford charcoal grill for a few years (which I thought was my last ever BBQ!). moved onto whole joints, beercan chickens etc. and experiemented with low and slow (or is it slow and low). anyhow I have been promising myself a smoker for a while and just ordered a WSM. So looking for some inspiration and tips for the best places to buy and prepare meat for the smoker..

Welcome it's low n slow AND slow n low whatever works for you. Try to get to Canvey on the 23rd you'll see all kinds of smokers and bits and pieces you can't live without. Plus there is always a chance of tasting a morsel or three.
