Just bought myself a cheap offset smoker and made my first rack of smoked ribs on Saturday. Not perfect and lots to learn, but still tasted better than anything I've ever had before!
Trouble is all I can think about now is rub and sauce recipes, smoking techniques, cuts of meat, how to improve the smoker etc. etc. My wife thinks I've lost the plot, but I don't understand why everyone isn't thinking like me
Is this normal?
