I picked up 6x 7KG bags of lumpwood at £4 each and 4x 7KB bags of briquettes at £3 a bag from B&Q today... my storage shed is somewhat full now. Looking forward to smoking the xmas turkey again without any fuel worries :)

I thought the same thing at first but then thought I can use it to grill and in the starter. Cheap is good at the end of the day. Even if you just get 1 bag.

Slight deviance from clearance topic... What is a good price per kg for lump wood? And has anybody used pen fuels charcoal?

£1 a kilo is usually about right

Lidl in Harlow have 2x5kg bags for £4. Some also in Aldi in Harlow, £2.89 for 5kg. Not discounted yet.

I picked up 5 x 7kg bags Weber Premiun and put code QUID2 at checkout to get delivery for £2. Therefore 5 bags at less than £9/bag incl delivery. Good deal.
