Have you used hammersnipe?? www.hammersnipe.com

Might help if you aren't around when the auction ends.

I never bid until the last minute, thought you were waiting to hear back from the other guy so didnt think you would have jumped on this one yet. Let me know with things like this so we dont clash

Thanks for the tip but i always make sure i am there at the last to place bids (and gauge what will be required to win), never place a bid until the last minute, early bids put up the price LOL

I am waiting for the other guy, but saw this one and thought it was worth a punt. I sometimes put an early bid in to stop people doing the buy it away from EBay thing  I wasn't the first bidder though.

To be fair you'll be prepared to bid higher than me, I was chancing my luck. Do you want me to contact the seller and let him know this so that you can arrange something with the seller? He can withdraw the item even with bids on it. I've done it before, he probably doesn't want to in case he gets a higher price.

I didn't contact you because i thought you were going for the other and I assumed you'd see my name as the high bidder if I was winning.

BTW I've only bid £50 which is nothing compared to it's value, like I said, just chancing my luck.

I will leave the ball in his court to make a decision, and will let you know what price the other chap comes up with when he gets back to me, I did check the high bidder but its a private listing and doesnt tell me, I wouldnt tread on anyones toes intentionally

Yeah me neither, unless it was Neil's toes that is

Probably should have given you a shout first but i know you've already got a big one, as you'd bid on a small one I thought that might be what you were looking for
