ProQ Frontier - Clay Saucer Method query

Postby SmokerRH » 18 Nov 2014, 20:51

Hi,

I plan to try the clay saucer method this weekend and was wondering what size of saucer is best to use. I have a 36cm saucer which sits pretty much on top of the waterpan

Will this work or should I be looking for a smaller saucer that sits in the base of the waterpan?

That will do the job, suggest wrapping in foil to keep the mess down.

Thank you for your advice.

Would you suggest foiling bothe the water pan and saucer or just the saucer?

No harm in doing both separately, it's only to keep them clean.

I don't use a saucer - just have a couple of bricks in the water pan, and then cover the top with foil for ease of cleaning.
