Greetings from the East Midlands

Postby Q_Division » 19 May 2015, 11:32

Hi all,

As the subject says greetings from the East Midlands. I've been grilling for years but want to get in to smoking so am trying to decide which smoker to buy at the moment and as this place has been a good place for information I figured I ought to get an account :)

I'm thinking bullet. Ideally I'm looking at sub £200, but am tempted by the 47 WSM although £300 is a bit of a stretch I'm wondering if it's the buy it right, buy it once approach.

Defo. Sub £200 will just be a headache. Only way to get that is with a UDS.

That's the conclusion I am quickly coming too. I could probably do a UDS but I've got enough DIY to be going on with at the moment (just had an extension built).

I agree!

Go UDS to get the hang of thinks and then WSM after that. But........... if you cant wait just bite the bullet (no pun intended) as you only live once and go for the WSM as it will last for ever. Harry Soo uses them for Pro competitions so they must be OK

Welcome to the board. It's nice to have someone else in the East Midlands around.
