Smoking virgin needs advice on kettle (lokkii)

Postby 8birchy10 » 24 Jul 2015, 23:19

Hi, damn you lot have had my mouth watering with your pics.
anyway if been offered a lokkii perfection trolley kettle for 40quid (home base 200) bit I can't tell if it's a smart buy.
it seems to have a good spec, porcelain grills, hood and pan. Ash collector, thermometer, good quality materials and so on. It seems to be similar to a weber kettle premium.
Lokkii are a German brand but I'm struggling to find reviews in English so can't decide.
Please help, I have until lunch to decide before my pal let's his neighbour have it.
any advice would be great.
thanks
Simon

Old Chap,
Its a no brainer for me. Its £40 that is about the cost of charcoal, chips and a modest bit of brisket. If its Germanic in origin and kettle shaped there is very little that can go wrong.

Snap his hand off and fire it up this afternoon say I
Cheers
