Good evening all! Been burning food on BBQs for years, charcoal everytime for me. Moved house recently and had to go into digs so left my old BBQ behind. This time of year seems perfect to pick up a bargain and found a WSM 37cm for £150 (ex display) so bought it without knowing much about it. Tried it yesterday and really impressed with the results! Learnt a couple of lessons though, so today have bought a Maverick ET 733. We also make our own sausages and are looking forward to next season in earnest but will be playing with it over winter. Always wanted to try 'beer can' chicken but never had a BBQ big enough, so think that's next on the list! Also interested in making our own ketchup, beans and even smoking some cheese!
