Vic's first major sponsorship

Postby Vic. » 23 Apr 2011, 11:00

I just secured a 5 year R+D contract with Weber to replace the Weber Smoker Mountain range to Vic's gas filecabinet smoker.

See here... Image

The primary task is to combat global warming by reducing the amount of carbon fuels used on WSM smokers, with the long term goal of developing a solar powered Smoker unit.

I'm over the moon, can't believe it :D

There was also some talk that current WSM owners will have to apply for a carbon burning licence :?

Isn't burning charcoal carbon neutral or near enough because of the carbon trees consume while growing.

Extraction, transport and processing of natural gas on the other hand...

Anyway I like global warming, takes less fuel to run my BBQS at 250 :D

Indeed, I do think the VFS (Vic's Filingcabinet Smoker) does have a certain ring to it though :D
