Evening all from Essex

I'm near Basildon and grill weekly. So happy to discover you guys and gals! I was so desperate for BBQ chit chat I joined the Aussie BBQ society! Btw they are a great bunch and well worth a visit. Been grilling for years but only seriously for the past three with my genesis plus a q120 for when I'm away from home. Really toying with getting a wsm and would really appreciate your thoughts on this baby. As I said, great to find you and looking forward to learning from you all.

Welcome to the forum glad you found us. You can't go wrong with the WSM, I've just bought one after having various other smokers and it's great, loads of people on here have them including some of the competition teams.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

As JEC has already said you can't go wrong with a WSM. I have two and love them, very easy to cook with and hold temperature better than anything in the same class.

Welcome...I'll also champion the WSM, although I've only used it once so far...

WSM's have been my weapon of choice for some time. My wife bought me my first one and I love it. I have both sizes and I would recommend the 47cm both are good but the 57 can be hungry and harder to control spikes in.

Well thank you all for your warm welcome. Looks like a wsm will be heading my way pretty soon. I was worried that as I already have a genesis would it be worth the investment in another cooker. Btw been exploring the site and having great time. What a nice place!! Looking forward to joining in.
